Manganese is involved in enzyme activity for photosynthesis, respiration, and nitrogen metabolism.

Deficiency:-

Young leaves show a network of green veins on a light green background.

 

In the advanced stage light green part becomes white.

 

Brownish Black or Grayish spots may appear next to the veins.
